SBCF believes that members play an active role in education and raising awareness of breast cancer. Both men and women are encouraged to become members. Membership is free. Members will receive the SBCF’s newsletter and get updated information on programmes and projects. They can also volunteer their services for SBCF’s various activities.

Volunteer Training
SBCF ensures that all volunteers who wish to become Hospital Visit Volunteer Counsellors or Telephone Volunteer Counsellors receive adequate training to fulfil their duties. Courses are also organised to upgrade skills for volunteer counsellors periodically. A counselling course is also conducted for nurses who work with breast cancer patients.
