Dr. K. Shantha Breast Cancer Foundation (SBCF) is a non-profit charity organization, with the mission to prevent and cure breast cancer by promising research and spreading awareness. Under the leadership of our Patron, Dr. G. Viswanathan Speciality Hospitals, Trichy and the dedicated, enthusiastic executive team of medical professionals we are successfully on track to achieve our mission. SBCF believes that by doing so more people will not only become aware of breast cancer and related issues but also become our partners in spreading our education messages.

Mammorun 2025
The SBCF Mammorun 2025, taking place on October 26th in Trichy, is a significant initiative in the fight against breast cancer. This run/walk brings together runners, volunteers, and supporters in a unified effort to raise awareness and promote early detection.
Mammorun 2025 is more than just a race – it is a celebration of hope, resilience, and community. Participants will experience the energy of the run, connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to spreading a powerful message about breast cancer education and prevention

Pink Challenge 2025: Virtual Run, Walk and Cycle
Throughout October, the Pink Challenge encourages participants around the world to join a virtual run, walk, or cycling event dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness. From October 1st to 31st, individuals take on the challenge in their own communities, coming together for the common goal of spreading awareness and advocating for early detection.
The Pink Challenge creates a global movement that inspires people to stay active, share knowledge, and support those affected by breast cancer. Every step, pedal, and mile paves the way for a healthier tomorrow.

Mammonite 2025
Mammonite 2025 is the signature cultural evening of the SBCF Breast Cancer Awareness Program, held right after Mammorun. It brings together participants, cancer survivors, volunteers, and the community for an unforgettable night filled with music, joy, and inspiration.
This year’s celebration features soul-stirring performances by singers Sridhar Sena, Nivas, Srinidhi, Shenbagaraj, Vinaita, and Reshma Raghavendra, with music by Karthick Devaraj and his band — KD. The evening will also include a special appearance by film actress Ms. Preity Mukhundhan.
Mammonite is more than just entertainment — it is a heartfelt tribute to breast cancer survivors, sharing their stories of courage and spreading hope, strength, and awareness while uniting everyone in the fight against breast cancer.
Mammo Bus 2.0
The Mammobus is a step further to create awareness and make it easily accessible to women specially from the lower-income, straight at their doorstep. The Mammobus is a mobile unit for breast diseases screening and will be having the following equipments fitted in Mammogram – An X-Ray device specially designed for breast cancer screening. Ultra Sound Scanner for the Breast. Audio-Visual aids to create awareness. Other necessary kits with competent technicians. The Mammobus would be stationed in Trichy and travel to urban and rural areas in Rotary District 3000 covering eight districts, screening women and spreading awareness, especially on the early detection of Breast Cancer.
